APRIL BAUCOM
April Baucom was born in 1960 in Phoenix, Arizona. Her family moved to California in 1967. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1978. April was saved at age 11 and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at age 16. April married Forrest K. Baucom in October 1979. He was in the Navy on the east coast until 1982 when they moved to Lawton where he had family. Two children, Anne Marie and Jessica Renee' were born in Lawton.
April grew up in Baptis and Methodist churches except for two years in a Pentecostal church in her teens. She also attended a Foursquare church in VA. After coming to Lawton, they joined F.C.O.G. Anderson, Ind, affil. and attended for 15 years. They transferred to Letitia Baptist where Forrest is still a member. April was active in the choir and drama teams and frequent soloist.
In the fall of 2005 April went to a prophetic conference knowing that it was a divine appointment for her. There she met Apostle Patricia Carpenter and bought her books. April also learned of the deliverance classes at Global Impact Ministry Centers and knew that this was Gods plan for her. After completing the classes, God called her to attend G.I.M.C. on a permanent basis. She is working on becoming ordained and is also active in the dance ministry. She is a psalmist and a prophet in training. April is also working on being a part of the deliverance team and in the healing ministry.
Her husband and youngest daughter live in the Lawton area. Her eldest daughter and husband Mike live in Lawton. Anne is in Cameron College studying Law, and Mike is a Fort Sill soldier.
